According to a tweet from Greg Rossino’s Twitter account, a writer for the Troy Messenger, 14 teams attended the Troy pro day. The Jaguars were not one of the teams in attendance. The teams listed by Rossino were the Falcons, Colts, Dolphins, Browns, Chiefs, Eagles, Bills, Panthers, Seahawks, Saints, Raiders, Texans, Giants and Broncos.
Jerrel Jernigan is the most notable prospect from Troy. His 4.3-4.4 speed and large production at Troy will likely earn him a spot in the 3rd or 4th round in April. The Trojans defensive end/outside linebacker Mario Addison could end up being a late round pick. Halfback DuJuan Harris is a possibility to be drafted, but could also go undrafted.
Most notable is that Grambling State DE Christian Anthony had his pro day workout at Troy on Friday. He’s a player that the Jaguars have shown interest in, however if they didn’t choose to attend his pro day that would indicate their interest isn’t as strong.
