David Smoak of ESPN 1660 in Central Texas reports that the Jaguars are one of 23 teams that were in attendance at Baylor’s annual pro day. The other teams in attendance were the Cardinals, Falcons, Bills, Panthers, Browns, Cowboys, Broncos, Texans, Colts, Dolphins, Vikings, Patriots, Saints, Giants, Jets, Raiders, Eagles, Chargers, 49ers and Seahawks.
The Baylor Bears have some prospects that will go early in the draft order. DT Phil Taylor is possibly a first round prospect, while G Danny Watkins could also sneak into the first round. It is more likely, however, that Watkins gets drafted in the second round due to the fact that he’s 26. LB Antonio Johnson, P Derek Epperson and HB Jay Finley are all late round prospects that could be drafted in the 6th or 7th round.
The Jaguars did not attend the Tulane pro day which was held today. Tulane had four teams in attendance.
