While Wilson reports that DeMarcus Dobbs is a DE/OLB, at 6’2, 285 pounds, I’m not sure that he has the pass rusher build at the NFL level. Rather he looks like he could fit as a 4-3 3-tech who could fill as a run stuffing DE. In a 3-4, I don’t see how he could even be considered at OLB at 285. He seems like a much better fit at DE in a 3-4. For comparison’s sake, Tyson Alualu measured in at 6’2, 295. He’s not 10 pounds away from being a 3-4 OLB.
