Charlie Bernstein of Jagnation.com is reporting that the Houston Texans and St. Louis Rams have been in contact with free agent wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker. Due to the collective bargaining agreement negotiations that are still underway, neither team can sign Sims-Walker, but they are allowed to contact him. Tania Ganguli reported last week that the Jaguars told Sims-Walker that they would be moving forward without him.
UPDATE: Sources from all over, namely Gregg Rosenthal of ProFootballTalk and Rotoworld, are reporting that until there is a new CBA reached, Mike Sims-Walker is a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. By talking to him, the Texans and Rams are tampering and could be in trouble with the league.
