Jaguars look to spoil Ravens’ playoff chances

The Baltimore Ravens hope to get one step closer to the AFC North title in Week 15, while the Jacksonville Jaguars aim to play spoiler. Considering the Ravens play host to the Jags, there probably won’t be much “spoiling” going around. That’s the hope at least, as Baltimore Ravens tickets at ScoreBig offer considerable value […]

Jags tickets to Cowboys game most expensive of November

The Jacksonville Jaguars are just 1-7 through the first half of the season, but things are starting to look up on both sides of the ball. It seems the offense has found their running back with Denard Robinson contributing two straight 100+ yard rushing efforts, while the defense as a whole has been much more […]

Jaguars tickets up 12% for Sunday’s game vs Browns

Last week was the best chance the Jacksonville Jaguars have had yet to get their first win of the 2014 season. While they couldn’t get it done, it’s quite clear that they’re getting closer. Bit by bit, rookie quarterback Blake Bortles is looking more comfortable, while Jacksonville’s formerly terrible defense is starting to make proper […]

Jaguars tickets going for over 50% more for Blake Bortles’ first start

The Jacksonville Jaguars haven’t had a great start to their 2014 season, but in Week 5 they have a matchup that at least offers some hope toward finally earning their first win. After falling apart in week four and losing to the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jaguars fans have to hope the Pittsburgh Steelers will […]

Bortles makes a 17-44 loss feel so right

Chad Henne can be a serviceable quarterback at times, but we haven’t seen any of that since the first half of the Jaguars’ opening day loss to the Eagles. Now, it looks like we can finally close the book on the Chad Henne era. The #FreeBortles movement finally saw its vision accomplished, and it appears […]

Jaguars tickets 18% below average for Colts game

The third week of NFL football approaches and teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars are still looking for their first win of the season.  This Sunday the Jaguars will host another winless team the Indianapolis Colts at EverBank Field.  The Jaguars are coming off two bad road losses to the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins […]

Chad Henne is a backup quarterback — time to start Blake Bortles

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ 17 to 34 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles was a tale of two halves. In the first half, Jacksonville was dominant, thanks in large part to their defense’s relentless pressure, but quarterback Chad Henne was a huge boost too. Aside from a pair of missed field goals from the foot of Josh […]

Could an expanded playoff field put the Jaguars in contention?

I know, it’s early — really early, but I’m all about making nonsense predictions that amount to meaningless chatter. After all, I’m here to have fun and play with interesting, sometimes heretical, ideas. The NFL will begin to seriously talk about playoff expansion at the Spring League Meeting in Atlanta tomorrow. It’s unlikely that the […]

State of the Jaguars presser could push “Jags to London” media line

We’ve all heard, for several years in fact, that the Jaguars are destined to leave Jacksonville. It doesn’t matter that owner Shahid Khan has already pushed piles of cash into stadium upgrades, and further early plans were mentioned today. Despite that commitment, all some media outlets will hear from today’s “State of the Jaguars” press […]

Why the Jaguars’ draft was better than the Browns’

The Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars are two teams in the AFC that are trying to build their way out of the NFL’s basement. Both teams drafted a top quarterback prospect in the first round of the draft. Despite that similarity, the two teams took a very different approach to building in the early rounds […]

Jaguars continue to add weapons with Allen Robinson

Second round draft pick Marqise Lee added more speed to the Jaguars’ receiving unit, but that wasn’t enough for David Caldwell and company. The Jags moved up from the 70th overall selection by giving up the 150th pick in the draft, trading those picks with the San Francisco 49ers to draft former Penn State receiver Allen Robinson. At 6’3″, 220 pounds, Robinson gives the Jaguars a big receiver to target, complimenting the speed of Lee and Cecil Shorts III.

Marqise Lee adds more speed to Jaguars’ offense

Free agency may have been targeted at bringing in defensive players, but so far, the Jaguars have been all about offense. Blake Bortles, selected third overall by the Jags, could provide the team with a franchise passer. With the 39th overall pick, the Jags are trying to give Bortles a weapon by bringing in former USC wide receiver Marqise Lee. (more…)

Five players the Jaguars may target in round 2

The Jaguars used the third overall pick in the draft to bring in a new quarterback of the future. Blake Bortles will be the face of the franchise for years to come if he’s given the right pieces to work with. The rest of the draft will be spent adding players that can make an […]

What Blake Bortles does and doesn’t bring to the table

The Jaguars now have their franchise quarterback going forward, but there’s a ton of work to be done with Blake Bortles. He’s often been described as “raw” leading up to the draft, and that analysis is certainly warranted. Still, he has a lot going for him too. First off, Bortles is huge. At 6’5″ and […]
